The head of Retail Outlets and Marketing of Sokoto Zonal Operations Office, Nura Kamba told news men shortly after an exercise to enforce government approved pump prices of petroleum products in the metropolis.

He said that the filling stations were sealed for selling petroleum products above the pump price of N86.50 per liter, adding that the sealed stations were fined N100,000 per each pump. “We have forced the filling stations to dispense the product at N86.50 while officials of the agency monitored the sales.”
