The Chairman of Sokoto State Chapter of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Barrister Steve Nwoke has said that the association would spend N10 million to provide a modern library at its secretariat on Garba Duba Road.
He told Newsdiaryonline in Sokoto on Monday that the project would enhance academic performance of its members. “We will equip the library with relevant law books that will aid our members in discharging their constitutional responsibilities diligently and more efficiently” he said.
He further said that judgments and on cases by various courts in the state would also be made available to guide members as well as update their knowledge.
Nwoke called on members to embrace the change mantra of the current administration in the fight against corruption, adding that the country would be better if the fight against corruption succeeded.
